This is a great T3 no doubt mostly all original gas tank not faded badly. Looks to be only missing one swingarm guard. Looks like he did replace the rear fender decals. I can spot the font of ATC250R decals anywhere (More of an italic and thinner letters on the 250 than the original).

But this bidder apparently likes to outbid himself with 5 days left.

Both bidder and seller have great feedbacks

He may of been trying to hit the reserve or can anyone say _________
bidding

This is our chance to see what an original T3 will go for not restored just original. Any guesses???

i think he is looking for the reserve. he should bid $10,000 then find reserve lol then retract his bid. and rebid the reserve if it is less then $3000 hehe

Even though I recently found one for my 86 I emailed the winning bidder to see if he wanted to trade the stock silencer for my brand new DG silencer for the 87 T3. Figured he might be interested since 99% of tecate owners threw them in the trash in the good old days. He kindly replied no thanks not interested. He won himself a nice machine!

God! I can't belive I could get more for my mostly stock Tecate than I could for my built flat track "R" and probably only $1000 more for my TRX250R Flat Tracker. Those 450R's killed the value on the quads. Too bad I'll never sell my T3 even though it seems to hate me.

Thats correct, At this point in time the more original the higher the value. All the mods actually decrease the value. At least this is what Ive gathered from watching all the ebay auction closes. I havent quite figured out why Tri Z 's are going so cheap though. I guess the true Yami fans are into the vintage dirt bikes more than 3 wheelers.
