A question to some trikefest Vets: Are there any grocery stores near Trikefest? Are there any beer stores near Haspin Acres? Just thought it would be better to buy this stuff out there instead of hauling it all from home.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,
ATCTim

No beer stores close, but in that manner no grocery stores either. There is other towns like 20 minutes away so you can snag stuff on the way in or you can pitch camp and unload and then make a run. Be sure to tell others cuz you might be able to save others trips there too...........peace

Where is the nearest Airport????

I might Fly in for this one....Its the only way I can make both TF and Rampage:crazy:

The 3 closes Airports are:
Indianapolis In: Aprox 75-80 miles from Haspin
Dayton OH: Approx 80-85 miles from Haspin
Cincinnati OH ( this one is normally costly ). Aprox 65-70 miles from Haspin
Ft Wayne IN : This one is about 145 miles from Haspin.

I'm 55-60 miles away from Ft Wayne and could probably pick you up. Cody may be able to pick you up also ( if he is coming this year ). Cody lives pretty close to Ft Wayne. ;)

I should be ble to pick you up at Dayton if that helps. I'm about 75-80 miles from there. Also quite a few memebers drive through Dayton to and from Haspin.

Xowner and Bill_X_R lives near Cincinnati and they may be able to help with a ride from there ( I don't know their plans ).

I am also pretty sure some users will be traveling through Indy. So you may be able to catch a ride there also.

At any rate, if your coming and flying in you have quite a few options for getting from the Airport to Haspin. I will try to help out where ever I can. ;)

I go right through cincinatti on the way up. Maybe if I can get Ronnie to ride up with me next year we can swing by the airport and pick you up or something? Just a thought.

Fireworks do tend to get out of control a little bit every now and then...would be a shame if it caught on fire, better just leave it at home.

Ahh, the Fireworks!! To my knowledge the only thing damaged last year was my Canopy ( and it was only pin holes ). That was because we shot the fireworks off 10ft away. lol

mywifeknowseverything, I knew you would have some options if you flying in, but I didn't think there was going to be so many. This is a great thing!!
