That looks like the Tiger that Ralph over at Quadpit.com used to ride. It's got the radiator on the forks and an 84/85 style Tecate front wheel assembly.

Awesome, There hasnt been one that nice on ebay for a very very long time. I'm not diggin the front radiator mount but beggers cant be choosers. If I didnt have mine already I would be going after that with a vengence in the last minute of the auction. Hope someone from the board who's been wanting one gets it. Nice Find!!!

The last one I bid on and lost the auction went for 1800.00 with no front wheel ,no axle or rear tires and only said it ran before the axle bent. I printed out the last couple of ebay auctions for tigers and what they went for. If the others were any indication I say close to 3000.00. I will have approx 5000.00 into mine and I think its worth every penny in the condition its going to be in. Tigers are rare and sought after so I put the monetary value at much more than a common liquid cooled 250R. Think about it how often do we even see them for sale complete

Its expensive but door to door with no crating required by the seller required. Check out the zones for actual prices. Many sellers who say no shipping will agree to this because of the door to door and no crating.

Look at an 86 Tecate 3 microfiche. It cliams that the 86 T-3 has 43 horse stock.

Just read Jebs link. I guess this means on this particular model thats where the radiator is supposed to be. Holic said this was an early model. Also read the questions at the bottom of the auction page where the seller states it was never modified. I love the look of the shroud but the "early prototype, eary model thing is a little "Sexy"!!

I can tell you guys this, the day after the auction (14th) the guy who was hosting the auction emailed me and asked me if I wanted to buy the Tiger..since skylinedrive didn't want it or something...but the problem is I only come home on the weekends and just found out today, so I emailed him and hopefully I will be picking it up In the next day or 2.

Good luck when you get the Tiger Garage Boy! They way the seller described it in the auction it must be fast or the fastest stock 250cc machine out there on 3 wheels. You'll have one heck of a machine. Post some close up pix when you get it. That Tiger is super, super clean and ALL ORIGINAL-NOT RESTORED. I think the buyer probobly couldn't come up with the dough.

All I can say is BE CAREFUL if you got an e-mail and not a second chance offer. I almost got scammed when I first got on e-bay. I recieved an e-mail from someone who tried to get my money.

And I have been wanting a Tiger for awhile real bad like everyone else...I spent the money on the Tiger because it shouldn't need much and If I had to restore one it would cost me alot more ...let alone trying to find parts..
