I am deciding on getting a 450r. What do all you 450r owners have to say about this quad? Thank You.

I don't own one but I know people who do, and I have ridden theirs. I personally liked it. Fast but nice and light.... I don't know how they hold up long term though. The ride was pretty comfortable too..........

They are awesome! Get one for sure. A pipe and HRC kit is a must have, make is a whole different animal. They hold up great. My buddy has one and we got them in Jan of 2004, the first ones that were around. I put a down payment 6 months before they came out so I could get the first one. We ride them all the time. Probably 1500 hours, not one single problem. We go on 100 mile road rides, the tires are completly bald. GREAT bike.

I am also thinking of getting one, but yes, if I did a PC exhaust, and HRC powerup kit will be a must.

I just got mine and love it. The engine sounds and rides like a street bike.

Interesting comparison. When my buddy was still debating on weather he was going to buy one or not I told him it was like a 4 wheeled crotch rocket. lol.

I love mine, just the first gear is too, high! I plan on going down a tooth in the front. It is a powerhouse and very easy to ride. The easiet Kickstart I have ever used. I have a black 05 model and love it!

I thought the first gear was too hight at first. I dropped to a 13 tooth on front and I liked it much better. One day we were going to do some road riding so I switched back to the 14. Wow, much better acceleration. Doesn't sound right but trust me. Now that I'm used to it I wouldn't want it to be geared any lower in first. Everything else feels to low to me now. I'm going to gear my 250R up a tooth on front. I know it seems like you're on the clutch a lot in the woods at first but once you get used to it you won't be hardly using the clutch in tight woods at all.

I did this same thing, had to have it. Curtis Sparks complete exhaust, drop-in cam, ignition, jet kit, and air filter will make that thing fly. If you like wheelies the450R is just what the doctor ordered. Go ahead and get it.

dude alli gotta say is git-r-done you gotta grow a pair once you put a sparks pipe and cam in ti with a dynafs revbox its a whole diffrent animal from the hrckitis junk in my oppinion. but i would strongly suggest a steering stabilizer and a good set of tires. then you can do stuff like me !!lolhttp://www.bikepics.com/pics/pics/honda-trx450-05-bikepics-407234.jpg
