Motor VIN check?? [Archive]

I searched the forums but couldn't find anywhere to identify this motor.

Honda MD06E 5102331

It looks like an XR200 lower end but I'm not sure, could someone hook me up please??

Ahh, a simple one here. Your motor comes back as a 1984 XL200r.

I was hoping it was the 6 speed year tranny all the 200X guys could use but I think that year was a 5 speed. Can the 200X people use any of the tranny or kicker gears? Hopefully someone can use the parts as they are useless to me.

Hey Howdy.. do you have a link or any way of figuring ou frame and engine models ? i'd love to know what my tranny is from.. it's a 6 speed, but i'd like to know the year.

My Frame i think i've figured out... but the tranny is still a mystery.
