in the UK tonite (dont know if its going to be everywhere) we have this thing where the moon appears to be very large. it only happens once every 90 years so i went to the end of my road and took some pics. they didnt come out amazing but its on my old digi cam.

DUDE!!! That's freakin' freaky!! What's the scientific explanation for that? Or is there one :eek:

It was like that last night at my house. And i live in International Falls Minnesota.

it was big here too, in NH... Anyway maine triker, the earth spins right? so does the moon right? well they spin at roughly the same speed, so every 90 years there is obviously some phase the moon goes through when it's closer to earths orbit...
i'll leave all the astro-physcitist calcualtions up to you man...lol
