That thing is beautiful!! Its great to see somebody taking the time to restore an old machine. Are those shocks new or painted?? First time I ever seen a tri-z quad upclose. Are you going to TF03 ??? I would love to see it.
I got an eeerie feeling when I first saw the pics, I had a banshee painted the same color w/red plastic and my blaster project pics are similar and its blue.

As you can see the front Calipers are the same as the rear but i don't know what discs they are?

Looks like its using Banshee/Warrior spindles and brake setup, which fit right on the Blaster A-Arms. Upper A-arm must be extended which is accomplished here by an adjustable length A-Arm. Just my guess, but those ceratainly appear to be Yammy calipers.

Loads of these were converted in the UK by a company called AutoQuad, based in Pershore.

Bought all the three wheelers up cheap and made them into quads.

Was about 11yo at the time so memories are a bit hazy.

Think the first batch was black and yellow and the second red and white.

Thanks Z250

I am just carry out the first lot of repairs as i gave it a bit of abuse last Sunday but she should be ready again for next weekend.

At the moment i am also building a super fast engine for it and i am also looking for new front shocks and a wider rear axle.

A mate of mine had a go on it and he thinks it is like a Yamaha Blaster on SPEED (the drug) I shall find out next weekend what it goes like up against a Raptor and a Banshee, I shall let you know.

Blaster? A very worked Blaster...maybe.
My tri-z would eat a stock blaster with EASE. It is faster than my 400ex in a drag race, off the holeshot at least. That engine you got there is the one I would stick with. One thing that really opened my bike up. was the addition of boysen power reeds, and a k&n filter with the steel airbox cover removed. That and a nice pipe (DG makes a good one for that bike), you should be hangin with anything, and imbarissing little blasters less than 240cc.

Best of luck...Ride it like you stole it!!!
