Not bad looking. From what he described, there isnt much wrong with it either. Wonder what the reserve is.. it might be a very good deal for someone on the forums living in MO..

I e-mailed the seller in the hopes of going to see it.
I'll let you all know what I find out if/when they contact me and I get an eyeful of it.
I'm still shocked it's THAT close to me.
Just goes to show how many of these trikes lurk in sheds, garages, barns, etc..
Wish me luck!

If MO doesn't make it out to see it I will :) Us Missouri guys may actually get lucky and have a chance at one of these.

I am kinda suprised that we don't see more Cagivas around this are since they were built just an hour or two from here.

There is a little room for the fork tubes to be pushed down.

The pics look like he has the fork tubes setting high up in the Triples, probably this was the prefered place to have them when racing flat track.

Orangecnty250r, wouldn't it be nice if you were the only bidder with no reserve.

Certainly, I figured I'd throw a bid 1000 bid in since no one has bid in three days. I would definetely take another tiger for the right price but my bid didnt hit reserve

everybody is pretty quiet out there, any guess on what this will sell for? I figured it would be over $2000. by now..... must be something I do not know? and will probably ask for the money Western Union and will ship for free! hahahahah

I think there are a few auction snipers on this one that dont want to show their cards early. It doesnt help this seller that they have only 1 feedback thats for sure!! (given the low feedback its probably better to make this a cash and carry deal) That has taken some people out of the game. This TIGER would definetely have more bids if this were an established and trusted seller. If you live in this area here is your chance to own a TIGER and a nice one at that.

whats so great about tigers anyway? Are the build to race motocross or something? How would a 250 2-stroke tiger stack up to an R, tri-z, or tecate?

I agree about the sellers feedback allowing this to go for cheaper than usual and the odds are that someone has already made their mind about the last minute bid to win this auction. Otherwise there would be more bids. Does anyone know if it runs? I notice the add mentions nothing about that.

A tiger will smoke all of those...... and since they are rare they are extremely collectable.

Hey folks,
I tried and tried to get the seller to contact me for a pre-bid inspection but I only received one response-and a vague one at that.
He has my phone number, so the ball has been in the seller's court since last Friday.

I live WITHIN 10 miles of it and not being able to see it is driving me nutso.
BUT I am not going to bid sight unseen and I'm certainly not getting into a last-minute sniping frenzy....which you know is going to happen.

If the seller does happen to contact me and I get an in-person inspection, I'll sure let you all know.

Best of luck to those who do bid.

So this person has very little feedback, plus it sounds like they are not too enthusied about having a potential bidder come to visualy inspect before making a bid on it. This might just be another "feeler" auction . :wondering

First thing that comes to mind to me is that it's a TURD, cosmetically (and mechanically?), slathered in Armor All to make a good set of pics for an auction.
And the seller would rather be secretive and not allow "in person" viewing due to that fact.

I'll watch the auction, though. It should be interesting.
HOPEFULLY, folks will use a little common sense on this one.
HA HA HA
Ebay and common sense?.....HA HA HA
Proof in point.....bidding early. Why, oh why, oh why?

When will people learn that bidding early is basically shooting yourself in the foot and MAKING the price climb? It baffles me.
WAIT!

3HRS left.. 4 bids standing at 1025.. wow i'm impressed.

Either everyone is holding back until the last CRAZY minute or no one is interested..

but as far as armor all goes.... it looks mighty good from here.... i wish i was close by.
