I dunno if that gearbox will work on a 350x/250r, but it should!

Still, if the cable is the wrong lenth it would be very hard to find a right lenth one since it is not a Honda product... hmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Find out the lenth of the cable and then you'll know!

Also it would be a challenge to make a custom bracket for a 350x or 250r.

OK... lenth of Hondaline 250es speedo cable=29"
Lenth that 350x cable must be to work properly=32"

We can therefore conclude that a 250es cable will not work on a 350x.

Now if this kit on eBay was a Hondaline one it would be easy to modify to work on a 350x, all you would need is a longer cable (very easy to find) and a bracket.
However the ends on the aftermarket cable are most likely different then a honda OEM cable, therefore it would be very hard if not impossible to find another aftermarket cable that is the right lenth.

All this mean that this kit will only work on what it is made for, a 250es

Yeah. Wow. I wish I would have been born back in '83 or so, so I could swipe up about 10 speedo's, 10 fender extenders, and alot of Tecates/Tigers and all those rare Hondaline parts, all so I can sell them for 600% profit in '05. :)

I guess I didn't pay that much for my HONDALINE speedo setup then lol. I'm sure it's a good speedo, but it is not back-lit and doesn't have a tripometer either.
