Sometimes I can't get over some peoples post counts, I've been on this board for a good bit now and I lurked before joining for almost 2 years. I'm seeing brand new members with higher post counts...and I read the board everyday....I must really be boring.....lol

Do people have like quotas they set for themselves.....

I think from now on I'm gonna post 3 times a day wheather its relative or not.......lol...

Just kidding...but seriously....I must need more spare time or something.. lol.

Dammit!

I'm making up for 7 years of trike withdrawl.

Plus it's too damned hot to do anything but sit in the house and mess around on the internet.

I try not to be a postwhore, but I DO love to throw in my 2 cents! I try and stay away from the one word posts, though. If it's any consolation, Louis, I think you are very interesting!

Just kidding! :p

I do not ignore advice or opinions just because someone has a low post count. Some folks seem to value another's word simply because their post count is high. Again, just my 2 cents! :beer

I don't even look at peoples post counts. Someone could have post count of 2 and know everything, or a post count of 10000 and know nothing. Post counts don't matter in the least.

And the only reason I've broke 200 posts, is because I have alot of questions about my restoration.. lol. And while I'm waiting for the paint to dry or between doing things on my trike, I come in the house and check to see whats going on on the forums.

I used to be a member of the Tippmann Paintball Forums, and let me tell you.. they are nothing compared to this forum. Always arguing or making fun of other people. This forum has a sense of organization and unity, unlike them.

I thought this was a message board? So now instead of active us high post count members enjoying talking to each other, we should slow down and find a different hobby? Lame.

Too funny

The more I ask and give advice, the more my post count goes up...

Why don't the mods just get rid of the post count, maybe we would kill off some of the nonsense posts.

Is it just me or did anyone else ever notice all the helpful posts on .org. people will just post a smiley or what ever. I don't know what the big deal is anyway. Mine is kinda high now that you brought it to my attention but I spend a good part of the day on these boards and I also have alot of problems with my ride. I'm not shy... So I ask questions... LOTS OF THEM . lol

I can say one thing though... I'm alot more educated about atc's in general than I was a few short months ago. this is a great place and I don't know what I would do with out it. :beer

Ummm... I think a few people took this the wrong way.....I don't care about post counts....I was just making an observation, a little conversation, and thought I had said something a little funny.

I have great respect for the pecking order of a message board and did not mean to step on any long time members toes....sorry if I did.

The main observation was the less than a month or two old members who rack up posts as fast as they can.

I've been here for almost a year now and I haven't really made many posts......I guess I'm boring....

Please anyone who's feathers are ruffled, I didn't mean it anyway like that and I appologize. I guess I was just trying to be a little humorus. I don't make frivilous posts....and I gues I was just in the mood to do so when I started this one....this is the open forum right? lol

Thanks for eveyone who understood that. Hopefully I've entertained...

well for some reason i had the thought you where pretty interesting wheni saw your name under the thread, if interesting is the word im thinkin of......i dunno if its the 500, or jus your previous posts i read by you, but i personally dont think your post count matters, its if those posts are used lending advice or sharing information or asking for advice and information, without just randomly starting threads about stupid stuff or random posts, like just one smlie or something.....i guess it has a lot to do on how often you can access a computer too, some people may only get to the computer at the local library, and thats why they haven pposted much, i actually am a member of a few different forums sites so i try to go to each jus as much if im not looking to get particular information or advice so if anyone sees me on another forum say hi, and ill do the same, There whhere some post before on this that where very true, as to the fact that everyone on here is a tight knit group of people, no matter how much ya ride, and even if you like fairly odd things, your still respected and befriended(?) (takin in as a friend) and never hated on for no aparent reason like ethnic background etc....

that was really long :wondering buttttt :TrikesOwn

Just kidding. I hate to break the new buddy but you're not boring at all. I concider you one of the more interesting members here. I'm having fun checking out your project pages and when you do post it's usualy worth checking out. I'm just a gabber by nature, that's my whorish post count excuse.

I think If you can help someone out of a jam then let er rip. From what I have seen In my short time as a member, If someone can help then they always do. That means alot. If you don't know much about trikes, there is alot to be learned on this site. All you guys are great. Look at your post count now Louis its going up like mad. I don't even know all the details on post counts, but I have learned alot & I have been working on small engines for a lomg time. Keep up the good work boys. :beer

I'm a member on alot of forums.. from woodworking to electric transportation etc.... i end up having a high post count on all of them..... Some of the forums i join i will drift away after a few weeks.. others keep me interested, this one in perticular really keeps me giong.

I learn something new every day, and i love to help when ever i can.. if i give advice on something i'm not sure of.. i'll mention it.. " Hey.. i'm not sure about this but .. .. . " At least gives someone a starting point of reference. I'm sure i've led some in error over the 2500 posts i've made.. but for the better part i try to do my best .

The Electric forum is insane.. all lurkers.. i will post a question.. there will be over 100 views.. and 1 reply. sheesh. :wondering

I work in a call centre.. i talk all day long.. 8 hrs a day.. 5 days a week, and happen to have internet access, so i need to keep myself sane somehow. and i usually have alot to say..

Heck.. look how long this reply got !!
