What would be your highest bid on a vehicle like this? I dislike having the Internet as my eyes, but I will need everyones expertise. It has the title.

See this is what I am talking about; it has to be an east coast thing (although auction is Ohio). Are values steady or are they climbing? About two years ago I had an option to buy a fairly mint '86 and he was asking $2100.

Kasey, instead of starting another thread I'll ask you. Other than the local paper and atvonline.com are there any classified specific or other bulletin boards/forums that I should frequent?

There's water pumpers in the AZ cycle trader all the time ranging from 1200 to 3500 bucks. If you know anyone you trust enough to do a transaction for you that lives in the southwest, this is the place to be looking.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Sure $2850.00 is alot of doe. But look at it. Clean and as original as you will ever see. The only problem is are you willing to take it in the muuuudddd? I might sell one of my 85 R's and buy this one. If I do theres room in the living room for it. I can't see riding this one since you will loose alot of value and before you know it will be worth about as much as any other R for sale.

That's what I should have included in my post. If I were to buy this I prbably wouldn't ride it and that would defeat the purpose from my point of view.
