How am I supposed to tell how much oil is in this thing?

Shouldn't there be a dipstick of some sort? How do I measure without a stick on the cap???

Not if there is something in the way. Is the clutch or something in the way so a strait dipstick would not work? I have seen an oil site used on a kawasaki klt 110 and I think I have seen Honda use it on a motocycle too.

Well I'm not too sure about that. I do know out of all the rides I've had in the past This, is a first. How you supposed to tell if it's low? I know... Once the motor burns up!

alot of dirt bikes use that window as a way of checking the oil level. its supposed to be an easier way of checking the oil. and the lazy way!

to tell when its low when the oil is near the bottom of the window. or you can't see it anymore. its full when the oil covers about half of the window.

Didn't old 'Zuki quads have that view-window too? Mine was so cracked and cloudy you couldn't see anything...

maybe that's why it seized... :D

the 2 stroke quadracer's didn't but some of the 4 strokes did., like the quadsports.

some of the quadracers have a bolt you remove and when the oil comes out its full. the rest of the quadracers don't have anyway of checking the oil.

I had a 250 QuadRunner, the one without the range selectors.

The Honda 450's have the window on the motor side. On the clutch side you have to remove a bolt just like a 2-stroke.

I HATE those sight windows. There is one on my Yamaha motorcycle. You have to get down on your hands and knees to see it, and someone has to hold the bike up straight or it has to be on the center stand. Its a big PITA!
