My Ex and I have been divorced now for more than 10 years. When we divorced she got 3 of our 4 bikes. I got to keep my "86" 250R. I ended up having to sell it to pay bills. Anyone who has been divorced knows how that goes. She got to keep the "85" 250R and 2 200x's of my kids. They sat there for 10 years untouched, unridden. I offered to buy them back, she said they will go to the junkyard before she ever let me get my hands on them again. Such is not the case. Last year my son told my ex that dads friend wants to buy the bikes. Finally last week she called him and asked if he wanted them, he of coarse said yes and went to her house to see them. He REALLY wanted the 200x's which were now in a bit of rough shape. I had no interest in them at all. He called me and told me she now was ready to sell but he had no money. So I gave him the money she was asking for, check this, $800 for all 3 bikes. He went over and offered her $700 and she took it. So I got all 3 for $700. I gave him the 200x's for doing the deal for me and I got my 250R back. Still had the stickers from when I liscensed it last, on it. On top of that, it was still titled to me, I only had to pay the $17 registration fee and I was off and running. This bike is in great shape with the exception of the seat , 100% stock with the only exception of being piped. Brought it home, cleaned the carb, changed the plug and it started right up. My daughter and son in law came over and my sone in law rode it. He called her right up after he left here and told her he had just riddin her bike, she didn't believe him at first. Then he told her he had ridin it at my house and that I owned it again now.... Man did the S**T hit the fan...lmao.. She was so ticked she couldn't stand it. I got the bike, her helmet and my paddle tires back....lmao.... too funny....She hadn't touched the bikes in all that 10 years right. She was so pissed she went and bought 2 new 4 wheelers to try to show me up. Lmao.... I hate 4 wheelers. She has nuttin on me... I am an avid die hard 3 wheeler fan and always will be.

I love it! How you tricked your ex, only a triker

Nice looking R too, nice of you to hand off the 200x's to buddy for buying em. But you got what mattered, the R. I like how you only payed 17 bucks to register it again. Glad you got it, have fun! :w00t:

All I cared about was my "R". It is in pretty good shape huh..... dang fun to have back... went riding it tonight.... ahhh.... memories... still have pics of me jumping my "86" from 10 years ago....sad... wish I still had it.... but nice to have this one back all the same

That's absolutely amazing!! I told my wife when we got married that a prison sentence is cheaper than divorce!! But oddly enough it was her parents' divorce that netted me my trikes and quad.

Brapp, I suggest calling the police non-emergency line to get a police escort to go over there with you and get your stuff. It will temporarily nullify the restraining order and you'll get your stuff back.

I hate immature crap like that. That is why I go for the older women who figured out it is more trouble that it is worth.
