does any1 know how to use windows media player to take a clip out of a long video and put it on here? the vid is like 30 min's and the race is only a few seconds right in the middle

As far as I know you cannot with MP... You need a video editing program like Pinnacle Studio 9, etc...

ok my emachine came with a program called "power dvd" it has alot of options on the small window at the bottom? do you know?

i dont see where i can edit it or w/e

are there any free programs on the net to get, that are good for this? and very simple
if you know. whats the simplest lol :wondering

Power dvd is a player, not an editer.

You might be able to use windows movie maker. Thats how I shortened my movies to use them on the message board.(Thanks HondaATC)

if you have windows xp it probably came with it. start>program>acessories>windows movie maker
