Before two strokes die I want to go ahead and get me a Banshee, and I just want to know...I was reading the description and it says "twin cylinder 350"...is it actually two 350 cylinders for a total 700cc's, or is it two 175cc cylinders equaling 350??

no, it's 2 cylinders that equal 350cc's,,,their great, i have a buddy that just got a 98 Shee that we are getting back to running,,,i would like to have a Shee someday, but for now for 400EX (soon to be 440EX!) is enough for me,,,

ahh thanks for clearing that up for me. I'm not gonna buy my stuff new, it's too freaking expensive. 60 miles from me(Las Vegas) I can get almost new(2000 and newer) for 1/2 off or more, in perfect running condition. makes no sense for me to buy new when I can get almost new for 1/2 off :D

Yes get you a banshee. If you don't, you will regret it. Best damn thing ever invented. And this coming from a guy that used to despise them. What are the odds?

Any suggestions on which year is the best to choose from? I'm also gonna buy a YZ 250 :D Love the two strokes!

to the best of my knowledge all Shee's have been the same (except color schemes) since 1987,,,

You want 89 or newer which are all the same. The 87 and 88 models used the front J Arms which were junk, always getting bent until replaced my A-Arms in 89. Also the rear axle carrier was improved in 89 as the old 87-88 four bolt type was a frequent source of stripped bolt holes.

So basically the newer, the better. I've seen quite a few '99 and newer for 2500 bucks....run perfectly, less than 50 hours since new, blah blah...Once I am old enough to get a job this summer I'm buying one....and I fix up my El Camino too :D

theechozen1...I live not too far from you, I live near Las Vegas. It's not everyday you see 99 or newer for 2500, but everyonce in a while you do.
