I've been trading on the market for about 6 months now. I can not believe how easy it is to make money for so little work. I am planning on doing this full time this winter when we are slow. Anyone else in the market and have any good stories. I hope to do this full time after this winter if all goes well and get a few clients to trade for.

I was trading this morning, I have fridays off, heres just one of my trades, look at the time in and time out. This is my record for the shortest trade. I had a few more like this but none were under a minute.

Yeah, I mess with Scottrade now and then, just penny candy. Theyre cheap and easy to deal with and lots of nice features on the trading screens. I had to throw a little away on Enron when it went belly up.

LMAO, Good answer!! I'm with ya there. I would say I'm a too big of invester in 3 wheelers. I have so much invested in 3 wheelers I don't have anything left to invest in stocks.
Now, my wife has a 401k that she can pick the stocks she wants to invest in. She turned a 95% return in 2 years. We are planning on buying stocks here before too long, just have to save up some money.

I never have, but would like to maybe get into it. Geek mentioned scotttrade, I've also seen e-trade mentioned on the TV before.

x.system, if I'm reading that correctly, you made over a thousand bucks in one minute?! Damn, hook me up!

How much starting capital do you need to make this worth the time ?

I've done alot of reading about it and it would be my type of work.. stressful i'm told and you have to be able to deal with loosing money without freaking out...

How did you get started ? and with how much if you don't mind my asking ?

Thats correct and its a record for me. Heres a couple more trades I made that day but none were that fast.

09/30/05 12:12 PM 1.2894
09/30/05 12:35 PM 1.2907 $1,007.21 (23 minutes)

09/30/05 12:38 PM 1.7679
09/30/05 12:48 PM 1.7674 $500.00 (10 minutes)

09/30/05 01:06 PM 1.2932
09/30/05 01:22 PM 1.2945 $1,004.25 (16 minutes)

In all I made 7 trades that day and had one that ended after a week when it hit my preset goal. Normally I trade 2 or 3 times a week but I was on a hot streak this day so I stuck with it.

I plan to get about 10 people to trade for this winter and offer a 100% return within 6 months. This will give me more leverage to make greater profits. I will go into more detail if anyone is interested.

bigredhead, I started with $2000 capital and have made it grow from there. You can also start out with a mini account which requires a $300 investment. The profits are not as great but you don't loose as much either.

Wow, I tried to reply 5 times using a quote and it locked up every time. I took out the [ ] and it worked this time.

Jim, what online trader do you use?

I have an interest in getting into it, but am a little bit weary. My uncle and cousins started off a couple years ago and in like 4 months had made over a 100,000 but ended up losing it all in one afternoon

I'd have a hard time starting with 2,000 but I could probably manage 3-500 OK.
