That is the best conversion I have ever seen. Looks so clean, like right from the factory! I would love to get that. Throw some elkas dune edition shocks and some paddle tires and that thing would rock.

The air cool cr500 motor was JUNK....but it dose look like a good nice clean swap ;)

What are they using for the middle exhaust pipe? Flex pipe or something.

I was unaware that the aircooled 500r motor was junk. Can you be more specific about what was wrong with them? and why you think they are trash. Thanks Glenn O.

They where a poorly designed engin, much like the YZ490, they constantly had pre-det problems, you could jet up and down and all around and it would not solve it, the power liked to move around alot as the bike got warmer and warmer...., and they eat alot of piston's becuse of the above mentiond problems.

I had an 84, they just ping like crazy. As to the pistons, I never had a problem and it was only ridden in the dunes. You just have to learn to not let all the noises get to you.
