I used to have a 91 CBR F2, 93 CBR F2, 94 CBR F2, 98 CBR RR, 89 Kaw ZX 9 and a few others. I loved the feel of taking a corner with your knee on the ground! Hey remember to watch out for those foos in the cars, cuz they dont care about you. Also wear the proper equipment, I used to ride in full leathers around town too, just cuz the foos out there on the street.
I road raced sport bikes in the WERRA circut for about 4 years in the late 90's, it was a blast. Stay safe bra.............peace

I used to have an 87 Cbr600 Hurricane. I currently (since 1997) own a 1990 Honda CBR1000f. 135HP stock! It is a real tire burner. Going like 30MPH, if you try to wheelie, it just breaks the rear tire loose. It's too long and heavy to be a wheelie machine (over 600lbs.) But it will run the 1/4 mile in 10.3 seconds. Ton of fun to ride. It's big and comfortable, and handles well too.

Wouldn't a xr200r frame be kinda heavy for the electric motor?

Here's mine. Not exactly a sport bike, but she makes up for it in torque. I can cruize up most hills here in the Appalachian's in 5th gear at about 30mph.

Its a 1982 Yamaha Virago 920. 6800 origional miles on it when I got it. She purrrrrrs like a kitten (although, I need straight pipes for it).

i had my first close call today with some jackarse coming into my lane.he entered the highway and came across both lanes right in front of me.i pulled in the clutch and locked the rear wheel up.dropped down a gear, let out the clutch and got of the brake then i had to swerve to the right, and ride in the break down lane to not hit him in the side.what an idiot,i piped him a coule times and then dropped back behind him.my hart was racing, and i think i left a stain in my good undies

It needs to be heavy and tough enough to handle about 150 lbs of batteries !

but... to give you an idea of the difference..

My bike has 4 x 12v 12 amp/hour and a 20 amp controller.

20a x 48v = 960 watts peak.

This thing

400A x 72v = 28800 watts = 20 electrical HP.

Think of it as a quarter twist on the throttle = top speed at the rear wheel , no shifting, no gears, no clutch ! NO ENGINE BRAKING!

Holy smokes. You have to get videos of that thing in action! 20 electrical HP. That is going to be insane! :w00t:

88 CBR 600 Hurricane

Was a blast to mod and ride on the streets around here. No signals, no speedo, just a brake light and headlight. Turned a lot of heads around this plain jane town too.

I always liked this model (85 Honda Nighthawk 700S) and wanted one for years and finally 3 years ago bought this and redid the whole thing. Not immaculate but darn nice for a 85. It was in terrible shape at one time.

Not to piss anyone off, but I think it looks far nicer then todays bikes. Now a days you hardly see the engines at all. What I like about it most besides its looks are the cool features it has.

1) front forks with a anti dive 4 position control knob ............more a gimmick then anything but still a neat bling feature
2) hydraulic valves - never, ever need adjusting
3) shaft drive - no chain adjusting here and stays nice and clean
4) digital # gear indiactor on dash
5) 6 speed
6) came with rare 4 into 1 super trapp exhaust - I rode a stock nighthawk (the red one), side by side comparison - what a difference!
7) fuel guage that reads full when you do fill it, for the 1st 40 miles that is........then drops to dead E the remaining 100 miles

Best thing - the value of this bike just keeps climbing ! :beer Check out the low miles :naughty:

All other Nighthawks blow and 84,5 and 6 were the only happening ones as far as I'm concerned.

I own a 2005 Hayabusa. The worlds fastest production motorcycle. 175 rear wheel horsepower 105 foot pounds of torque, 205mph on the big end, she runs 9.50 quarters, and the poor girl is almost stock. This is not a guestimate on the figures, this is all on the dyno, however I have personally ridden her 185mph.....thats a 185 yards per second to those of you who think they have gone fast before.

She is a Suzuki GSX600f. It has custom Chromalusion flip flop paint that changes from purple to green, and varoius other colors in the rainbow. She has a K&N filter and a 5 degree Ignition Advancer, Stage 1 Jet Kit. She does around 140mph with me on her. It is still verry reliable, Best bike I guess I ever owned. We also own a 2005 Suzuki Hayabusa, a 2005 EX250r Ninja, 5 Honda Big Red 3-wheelers,1 Yamaha Kodiak 400 4-wheel drive,Honda XR100R dirt bike, a Kawasaki KX80 with a Black Gold 105cc kit installed and full tilt wheelie monster, 1999 z50R, 1985 Yamaha Tri-Zinger 60, and various other odds and ends. And one loud azz D&D exhaust on the Katana.
