Ok this might seem like a silly question, but do you change the engine oil on a Polaris Scrambler 2 stroke liquid cooled? If so where do you drain the oil and where do you fill it back up again? Thank

Unless your motor is different than my 86 Polaris Scrambler you don't have any oil to change in the motor.

there is no "engine oil" on the 400 2 stroke. however there is the counterbalancer oil.

if you have the 4x4 scrammy then you also have trans oil, front diff oil and hub fluid.

there are also grease zerks all over that machine.

get a polaris service manual. best $30-40 you could spend..

its pretty straight forward for the counter balancer. there is a scrwe on the bottom of the engine, you want to loosen the middle one I beleive, and then remove the plug at the front of the engine just before the recoil housing.
