Help! Motor acting up!

:confused: I have a '80 ATC 110. Was running fine. Took off the tank to paint it. Now the motor will only backfire. Have about pulled my arm out of socket. Can these engines jump out of timing? Need HELP!

put this in trikesylvanie, you did take off the petcock or atleast covered it for painting right?

Yep, your in the wrong forum.

Possible you turned the fuel cap vent lever off and forgot to turn it back on?
