I've got about 100 shop rags I need to clean. Anyone know a good way to clean them other than sneaking into the laundromat?

nope.. laundromat is the best place.. short of using your own washing machine.... wich we all know is a bad idea !! lol...

or throw them out and buy new.. but if you have 100 of them .. for 5 $ at the laundromat...... it's the best option.

I use to just fill a trash can up with soap and water, let them soak refill swirl it with more soap and after you get most of the oil out then toss them in the washer.
Now I just take them back to work and toss them back in with our other rags. but I don't have a 100 either. just a couple.

We just wash them in our washing machine. Then after they're washed, fill up the washing machine again and let it wash without anything in it. -shrug- Its always worked for us.

Go to your local " Guy's Frenchies " or " Thrift store " .. salvation army type place where people give away bags of clothes.. some of those are totally unwearable.. but make for good garage rags.

Usually given for a small donation.... 5 $.
