What is a good way to get the glue off fenders that is left behind when you peel stickers off. I've tried rubbing alcohol to no avail. I don't want to try just any old thing because I don't want to damage the plastic.

PPG's DX330. but you probaly wont have acess to that, so, goo gone would probaly work, but test it on something before trying that.
Ive even used penetrating oil to get that stuff off, didnt work too good, but it did work!

get some good quality carb cleaner and spray on there (really potent stuff ). When the cleaner drys it will bubble the glue and any decal left on.

Yea but will it bubble the plastic? Carb cleaner ate a hole in my fathers driveway!

I always use a heat gun to take off stickers and it never leaves any sticky stuff behind.

Guy, guys, guys...use lighter fluid! works great and isn't nearly as harmful as those other items.

Yeah lighter fluid and a match. Works great everytime! Just joking  .. I've heard wd 40 works good. I've seen people use wd 40 to make there plastic shiney so I don't think it will hurt anything.

next time use heat to remove the sticker. A heat gun is great, but be careful. A hair dryer works best IMO. Can't get too hot to melt the plastic but makes enough heat to loosen the glue. You can still use the hair dryer to remove the glue, it's just gonna be messier now.

A hair dryer works awesomely well if you have one guy hold it next to the sticker and have you slowly peel back. Doesn't leave any glue at all in most cases.

Well I tried the lighter and match technique... I worked great!

I will know next time to use a hairdryer. I got one of those industrial mofo's I used to use to peel up tile floors. ;)

Use rubbing alcohol....

Thats what I used for the stickers on my 'wheeler. After you peel it off, just wet a rag with the stuff and it will wipe right off.

I've tried the rubbing alcohol route to no avail. I'm sure it will work but I was looking for something a bit easier. ;)
