Leaves.... That time of year again...

Well.. my 4 maple trees have finally given up and dropped all the leaves.. what a frickin mess.. actually looks good. but the dog tracks a crap pile of them into the house every half hour or so.. i keep finding pieces of them stuck to my socks.. :lol:


First year i had the house.. i did the manual rake thing.. bag. squish.. bag.. not fun.

Last year i got a black and decker leaf hog.. a bit more fun.. half the time !!..

This year i'm using the Toro self propelled mower with the bagger !!! :w00t:

MUCH better.. it's like vaccuming carpet.. but outside !!!

So far.. i'm up to 16 mulched LARGE orange leaf bags !!!! ...

My dads house is in the corner of a woods so he has LOTS of trees. He has a self powered leaf vacuum that is basically an enclosed trailer that he pulls with the cub cadet. If he doesn't do something with them the grass will die. My yard is an acre with several large trees. I just mow them up. No extra work for me!
