It's down close to you Darius.

Figured it was worth some discussion here since this motor mod has been kicked around. To me the location of the countershaft sprocket looked pretty high up compared to stock.

:wondering

I would think you could mod the frame and etc so that the swingarm bolt could go through that motor anchor. Looks a little shoddy to me. As far as i can tell if you get a forward kicking kicker mechanism like the one Severice Hodna uses on their new trx250r, the motor should mount almost identical to the stock one.

Seriously that could have been done so much better. Maybe that will be my next project. lol.

I don't think the seller knows what he has motorwise. He doesn't provide any clear pics of the whole engine, but from what I can see, that's an 88-90 CR 250 motor, not a 1995 as he states.

there you go man. there is your motivation. lets build that motor. cake job.

he has a 91 cr motor to go into a r. everything is ready to bolt in just needs the motor gone through.
dont you guys think he should do it.

I dont think the zip tie holding on the silencer will last very long. Still kinda interesting.

Oh they last....... I have a DG pipe but got a Pro-circut silencer so my R could meet the sound levels. Unfrourtunetly the pieps don't fit well toghether, same zip-ties have been on there since july! And I ride a lot!!!
