Been working on my little Yami as of late. Its a real project in every sense of the word. Doing a little restomod work on it trying to make it a better ditch banger. Since its been mine I've replaced the slide rail suspension with new pieces, bought a couple new heavy duty skis, rebuilt the top end (found a melted piston), put on a new track and replaced the bars with the BMX bars from my Dirt King.

Right now the sled is torn down to the bare body so I can straighten and pound out every dent and curve, pop rivet/weld the sheetmetal back together with thicker/longer rivets and brace the body where needed.
Cut open the stock exhaust and opened up the passageways with the drill as well. When I had the head off I cleaned up all the ports so everything flows smoothly. Need to check what bottom sprocket I have as there are several options for more top speed or grunt, want more grunt.

I mean there must be room for improvement?

Should note that I have a stock exhaust as well just to compare what works better. Stock pilot is a 78 and the stock mix ratio is about 20:1 so with the exhaust opened and the mix at 30:1, I think I'll notice a gain. Also hoping to get a better sound.
Also removed like 5 pounds of worthless crap like the oil mixing system, odd brackets, windsheild, rear rack, etc... Fun little project, made a headlight cover from a crazy carpet yesterday and have some number backgrounds to put on as well. This is just a simple project, just for fun, no big money spent and don't plan to spend much more. Looking for bar hooks and handguards as well.
Riding pics from last winter. My buddy stopped for a tree when I was trying to power over some deep snow, small trees.
