Touch-up painting

I have a bunch of scratches on my car, and was wondering if you gentlmen had any good tips on applying touchup paint.

go to canadian tire, and look in the auto paint part, and look up your car/truck and there should be a little container, it has a roller pen and a small brush, i used it on my truck when my brother put a scratch in the tailgate with, well, i dont know what it was, but he put it there!
