My New ATV lift leaks oil

I just set this up today, I bought it for myself for Christmas and now its leaking oil from what looks like the slotted screw...Now what is wrong with it?
There is a sticker below the screw that says "Safety Valve - DO NOT ADJUST"
I'm thinking it should be taken back for an exchange, just wondering if anyone knows anything about this, maybe its something stupid I overlooked...

i bought the same one in 2001, never had one problem out of it, i use it almost daily to keep quad tires from touching the ground during storage, keeps them from getting flat spots from sitting;)

hell go to sears and get a craftsman for 78 bux.

They have generic ones at Checker auto parts for fifty bucks.
