I got a new MP3 player for Christmas, just wanted to know if you can hear it over your motor?
And how many of you guys listen to music while riding?

Thanks!

Yeah I do. I love listening to Pusher Man, TNT, and Too Much Time On My Hands while I ride.

I do. With my iPod i have a armband for it so it doesnt fall. I listen to mostly rap and metal, seems to make me better.

The sound of my 2-stroke mill revvin' & screamin' is music to my ears and is the only music that I need or want to listen to! :w00t:

I dont. I think I would get distracted and crash into a tree,

I don't, too much risk in it for me. Where I ride is all two way trails, and most of the time you don't have time to see people until you're within 15-20 feet, and riding single track you don't know where the other rider is till you're pretty much on top of eachother if you don't hear them first.

I tried it the last time I rode. But I was trying to focus on where I was going and the steep trails in front of me. So after a while I shut the MP3 player off and just rode. I found out it also pays to be able to hear the motor ..

I pay too much attention to engine noise and such, so no, I don't.

I dont normally listen to it while riding although when I do occasionally i use these super trick noise cancelling earphones to hear it.

I now cant listen to anything esle the sound quality is so good when you have then in!!

I agree tho, if your nervous, can take away that and also motivate you;)

I dont reccomend taking an ipod or other new mp3 playwith you unless you have a sealed case tho. The sand and grit is bad news.

heck no, i pay too much attention to the motor, i am more worried about the damn motor then i am riding.

(i am an optimistic guy, i always assume the worse will happen)
