How did this quad rate overall back in the day?

The new Dirt Wheels did a reprint of there 1985 test of the machine this month in a tribute to the reintroduction of the quadracer nameplate...I didnt read it in full. I remember drooling over the ad in the magazines in the 8th grade back in 85.....They did a reprint of the ad also....The one where the quadracer and quadsport are side by side. :D

the honda was the winner in almost all the shoot-outs. the susuki rates better in some stuff, but the honda was a better overall. look at the prices that honda 250r's sell for and then compare them to the price of susuki 250's, your average susuki sells for $1,500-$2,500, your honda's start at around $3000, need I say more. A few years ago, before the 450 invasion(so so overrated in my opinion), 250r's were selling for 4g's plus for stock framed bikes and mild mods, you would be lucky to get 3g's for a susuki back then. Watch a Blackwater video from 1990-93, the field is 80% honda, and 50-60% of them are 250r's and about 25% of them have 350x motors.
