Avatar question

What size and format does the avatar require. I've tried several times to change my avatar and can not get it small enough to work. I use Irfanview to resize the .jpg pics without success. I know it has to be 100 x 100 or under 14.6

Change the image quality.

If you use Windows XP use the imageresizer powertoy found here. (http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe)

If not, you could use MS paint to do it.

I used Irfan View to resize my Avitar. I just bumped up the compression all the way. Works for me.
