Is the LT 230 a good quad? I know where I can get an 86 for $500, needs new rear fenders and other normal stuff. He said he thought it runs but does not know for sure. Is it a good deal? Is a 230 a good suzuki or not?

Location could be a problem though. Hes in WA.

Heres a pic of it.

That sounds like a pretty good deal, I'd go for it. Those machines are pretty bullet proof. As long it's not burning oil, and there's nothign major wong with it, it's definatley worth it. I'd be interested if you are not.

Yea, thats about what I thought. Like I said though, hes in WA, and I'm uhh, not. And I bet shipping for something like that to Illinois would be a major biotch.

His name is Brendan, he runs www.bikeboneyard.com. He deals in all sorts of stuff, but has a lot of older and rare bike stuff as well as some MX type stuff. Check out his site, he might have what you are looking for.

hey, I will sell you mine, its an 85, I think, excellent shape, just rebuillt the top end, carb, clutch, brakes, replaced all the rusty hardware, new seat cover, only one problem, it has a weak spark. I have tow started it, and rode it, runs great once running. I have pics. Located Ithaca, NY Dont want to ship. I have $750 into it, and would like to get $700 for it, but Im negotiable and open to trades for trikes and trike parts only!

Oh yaa, thats my bad. Little closer but still oh-so-far away :( . And trikeaholic, sounds pretty cool but uhh...NY to IL? Thats quite a ways. I don't really have any trike parts, unless you want to count an atc 90 that I might be able to get my hands on, but I probably want that.

Yea, I wouldn't mind a road trip but Montana? Thats a little far. It would be cool to go check out that salvage yard though. Anybody know of any of those in the central Midwest or Illinois?
