moped

I found a moped at my local dump. Took me 3 hours to get running. But there is one problem, I have never heard of the name. It says Cuyuna on the side ? and scorpion. I have heard of a snowmobile called this but it is a moped. It is a 78 model. Does anyone know anything about one of these. Any parts ? I would appreciate any replies !

what? it says cuyuna and scorpian ware?, on the engine? scorpian used cuyuna engines starting in the early 70's before that they used JLO, maybe they did make a moped to try to make some more money....or maybe someone put that engine on the frame?

It has two stickers on the side of the engine that say Cuyuna. Scorpion is painted on the frame. If you go to trailasled.com it says that they built a moped and I guess I found one of them. I had it running a few months ago and I am trying to get it running again. Need info. I guess parts are impossible to get ?

Go to www.mopedarmy.com check the photos. There are 2 models under the "scorpion", see if it is one. Search the form for "Scorpion" and you will see that a few people have them. Hope this helps.

that is the same moped as what I have. except that one is an 85, mine is a 78, I don't have that pipe either. I need the seat and the back tail light-plate thing. Thanks )
