I'd like to know how the old boys held onto those big tripples on those narrow sleds. They must have been great drag sleds, but turning around could kill ya. Sweet pic's nate b.

Being it's a Kit Kat with an 800 stuck in it I bet it is rare.

my dad's friend has one of those polaris triple motors in his garage, he collects all sorts of snowmachines, mostly rupps, but has a backyard full of snowmachines and parts. I own a polaris tx, sadly not a big triple like that, but a 340 free air. still goes like stink though; 70 miles an hour last winter, beats bigger sleds all the time :P

edit:

it looks almost identical to this sled right here

I remember all the hype about the 1982 SRX 500 does anybody know why it didn't make it to full production.

i have no clue man. the 2 closest sleds i had to a racer were a 1980 ski doo blizzard 9500+ bored and a 1973 polaris colt ss. the ss was only a 294cc dubble it it flew for being a 294cc free air sled. my blizzard was pretty fast to. they guy who bought it off me said he got her up to 115 mph in a field. i miss it but theres nowhere here to ride something that fast.
