I just picked up a swingarm for my Z today. I'm wanting to extend the one I just bought, but I'm not sure how far to go. I want to be able to move the forks back to where they are supposed to go in the front. Right now I've got them moved up about 1 inch in the trees. I'm thing 2-3 inches extended out back would allow me to put the forks back in the stock position and still give me the better handleing that having them moved down provided.
Any Thoughts?
After reading my above statement it seems about as clear as mud:confused: , but I'm sure you guys understand what I'm talking about.

No thanks! I think +6 may be a little long for what I need. The one I got was off ebay, and I gave .99cents for it. The dude only lives about 30 miles from me and said he would be in the area today so he brought it to me. Me and my dad have extended a swingarm before, but we were doing it just to do it. Now I'm actually looking to gain something from doing it.

what mods do you have on your Z? that would help us out. i have a +2 westcoast on my yellow Z now. but i dont think it is enough. i bought a +4 just havent used it yet. i am all top end on my Z so it will help me. if your running mid range a +2 is fine. go to a +3 to be safe but i think anything bigger may be too much. best of luck mike

It is not modded to much but it does have:
Boyesen Power Reeds
DG Pipe and Silencer
+1 front sprocket
Mixture at 50:1
Air Filter right off the carb
That's pretty much it. I'm thinking +3 would be good. If not I'll still have my original swingarm to put back on and extend this one more if needed.
