Does anybody out there know where you can purchase new Husqvarna dirtbikes? In my opinion there the coolest looking dirtbikes on the market, and I know they run great...I'd like to buy one, but I have no idea where they can be bought at. I know Husky has a USA home office in Charlotte, N.C. but that's like there chainsaws and what not, I want the dirtbike!!!

Buy a threewheeler and then you wouldn't have to worry about it lol

Bad news, bud. There CR250 retails dollars less than the "big boys" at $5,879 dollars.

Rod, thanks a bunch for that link! I'm gonna save up my money and I'm buying me a Husky 250 this summer! HELL YEAH!

I'd go with the Husaberg FE650, those badboys fly!

If you want a real bike, buy a Yamaha. Their awsome in all aspects, and their power is astounding. The YZ 250 was the dirtbike of 2002 and still is currently this year. Nothing beats the Yamaha. Ride Blue.

I want to buy a YZ250 this summer, but for me it comes down to looks between Yamaha vs. Husqvarna because I know they both run great. I just like the blue/yellow scheme of the Husqvarna better than the blue/white of Yamaha. Someday I will buy my YZ250 though.

hate to blow your bubble, but Yamaha isnt whale spit on a Husky or KTM or Husaberg or VOR...

We all have good bad stories, but had 3 KTMs and 2 Huskys, and would go Husky over KTM but would go Huserberg over them, and VOR over the LOT!

KTM may put out bikes with some of the most horsepower, but god they are a funky ride. I ride a CR250 and I've ridden my friends KTM520, and I'm not a small guy, but that damn thing beat the hell out of me. Handling wise I would take a CR250 or YZ250 any day over the extra couple horses KTM is supposed to make, not sure about Husky never ridden one of those.

PS - I've also ridden the CRF-450 and it is much faster then the CR250, stock to stock, I've mod'd the hell out of my bike and in a straight line drag I can now keep up with the 450, but the CR250 handles way better and is easier to recover when you goof up, so I tend to show them the rear fender in tight corners.

My 91 rm 250 is a realy strong bike, and it could use a rebuild. I never was much of a suzuki man, but I love this 250, all I had had before was a few mini crossers(85 YZ 80, 87 KX80) and all the other bikes I have had were vintage big bores, never thought I'd like a new style bike, because they sit so high I'm about 5'11 and can not touch the ground flat footed,I always felt one should be able to touch, but I have gotten used to it and I really like it. I wouldn't own a husky or ktm on account of the availibility of parts in my area. I have only rode one KTM it was a 91 125 MX, and it was gutless,it had a little low end grunt for a 125,but it was slow as all get out and had no hit to the powerband, and that is not good at all with a small bore 2 stroke. Also I think 2 stroke is the only way to go on a dirtbike. I have had a few four strokes and needless to say i'll not get another one, unless it comes at me really cheap.
