Hmm, I wonder if this is the real deal. No one has asked for the VIN number yet.

Also, an '87 Big Red?? It's in pretty bad shape, so tough to tell.

So whats the big deal. They made 200x's and Big Red's in 87. Its the 350x's and 250r's that they may or may not have made?

I didn't say it was a big deal, did I? All I said was, I wasn't sure if they were '87's.

Correct, but you did wonder if it was the real deal. Its a square tubing frame so it is either a 86 or 87.

The stickers on the tank are 87 style ones so most likely is a serious worn out 87 big red.

the 87 br is mine, and yes it is an 87. As far as looks, its not much, but it runs better than my 97 warrior.

Thats the cool thing about a big red is that no matter how bad they look or how long they have been negelected, they still keep running. I bought my one 85 big red for 50$ out of a farmers field that been there for over 5-7years. With changing the fluilds and kicking it, it started the first time. So I always say looks arent always what makes a good trike.
