There is a 300 fourtrax listed locally for $1000. Guys says it is immaculate (plastics unscatched, not broke or cracked, looks awesome he said). Had a new battery installed last year as well and is supposed to be a low hours machine. Just needs new tires.

Ok now first off obviously they are a honda so they're bulletproof but how is matenance on them (alot of upkeep for the machine in general)? What are some info about them (ex. are they 4x4, what is their backup starter, ect.)? And is it worth it? If I had a pic I would post it but I unforunatly do not.

Thats not a bad price if its in that good of shape. Thats a great price if its a 4x4, but I'm guessing it's a 4x2. Maintenance is about the same as a 250sx or Big Red. I know several people that own these quads and they are bullet proof.

ive had one for like 5 or 6 years , mine 2 wheel drive tho . they're a good runnin machine , i never had any problems with mine until now , rearend went on me but she gets a offly hard time too . before this i never had to touch the bike , change the oil twice a year or sumting , all i ever done with it . 1000 is a great price as far as im concerned , and the back up starter is a kick

Could be 2x4 or 4x4. I've got a 4x4 fourtrax and its a tank. I get it serviced twice a year and change the oil whenever it needs it. Other than that, all these things need are gas and a thumb on the throttle. Oh, the backup starter is kick, which is a LOT better than the pull like on the ranchers
