We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended due

concerns we have for the safety and integrity of the eBay community.

"Abusing eBay" of the eBay User Agreement states, in part:

"...we may limit, suspend, or terminate our service and user accounts,
prohibit
access to our website, remove hosted content, and take technical and
legal steps
to keep users off the Site if we think that they are creating problems,
possible
legal liabilities, or acting inconsistently with the letter or spirit
of our
policies."

Due to the suspension of this account, please be advised you are
prohibited from
using eBay in any way.

Please note that any seller fees due to eBay will immediately become
due and
payable. eBay will charge any amounts you have not previously disputed
to the
billing method currently on file.

eBay account
and provide us additional information.

End of message:

If you click on the sign in link it takes you to:

http://signin-ebay.dnsalias.com/signin.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dllSignIn-ssPageName-hhsin.php

Notice the alias?

The actual ebay sign in is:

https://signin.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?SignIn&co_partnerId=2&pUserId=&siteid=0&pageType=&pa1=&i1=&bshowgif=&UsingSSL=&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com&pp=&pa2=&errmsg=&runame=&ruparams=&ruproduct=&sid=&favoritenav=&migrateVisitor=

No alias, and is a secure site. This is a good scam and I am sure many people have given their ssn & credit card info. Please be careful.

If it doesn't say your exact name (that you registered with, not your ebay ID) that it is phishing - someone trying to gather your information to hack your account information.

Happens all the time with ebay and Paypal. You can get emails that say someone hacked into your account..... - Its all a scam and you can send it to spoof@paypal.com or spoof@ebay.com to make sure that it is phishing before you ever enter your personal information.
