yes i havent put the 8 inch springs in the front yet.it only has 4 inch now. as for the drivetran i put that brand new 350 crate motor in with a turbo 400 tranny with a 205 transfercase. 4:11 8 lug rears with 36 inch super swampers. everything on the motor is new too. carb, intake, headers, water pump all that stuff lol body wasnt that bad just needed new cab corners.i put the traction bars on for some heavy duty 4x4ing!!!! nothing fancy on the interior. thats about all i can think of. less then $4000 spent on everything so far. any questions ask away lol :-D thanks atcryder for the pic

What motor are you running again? With the TH400 it sounds like a 454.

Very nice truck. Your gas filler hole kind of looks like a Bowtie. Must have just gotten back from the painters? By the way, I'll trade ya paint jobs. hehe, here is my truck. '75 frame, '83 cab, '88 clip, dual tanks, 6 inch suspension lift, 3 inch body, 350 motor, 350 tranny, 203 t-case, 12 bolt rear end, Dana 44 front, 35x16x15 Boggers on 10 inch wide white spokes. Its been in the mud a time or two. Since the pic is has a Full floating rear end, put 8 lug discs on the D44, with the new axles I needed different tires/rims so I traded the Boggers for some American Racing Baja rims with 35 inch Cooper tires. The body is from Texas.

I also have alot of other trucks: '79 chevy 4x4 4 door 454, 400 tranny, 205, '80 chevy 4 door 4x4, dana 60 front, 14 FF rear, '84 GMC 2x4 3/4 ton, nice body from Montana, needs cab corners, rebuild 350, was a diesel, speedo reads 475,000 and its been unhooked for awhile, '76 GMC 1/2 ton 2x4 454, 400, '80 Blazer 4x4, 350 tranny, 205, '78 chevy 2x4 3/4 ton (this is the truck my rear end for my big truck came from), '80 chevy 1/2 ton 2x4, '86 Suburban 4x4 1/2 ton. All of them run except the blazer. Most of these are for parts.

Damn hrc200x, Thats a SWEET trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro truck!! I got a 1988 chevy cheyenne,4x4,350TBI,3/4T,glasspacks,bronco tires only thing I dont like is it's an automatic(but it is a 3 speed, all the better for hauling) I've had it mud bogging a few times and she always pulls through, kinda sucks on gas though(around 10 mpg in 2 wheel drive) i wish the truck was a late 70's early 80's, thats when chevy made the best trucks(toughest anyway) but I got a good deal on it so I cant complain, and it's got 167,000,00 miles on the orig motor/drivetrain(except tranny).

My buddie has a '79 chevy 1/2 ton, 350 4X4, 1 ton leaf's, and some mild tires, rather small. It's lifted about 5 or so inches if that, not much. He just put camaro heads on it, a very very mild cam, 600cfm edelbrock carb with intake and of course headers with straight pipes. Most bad ass truck in school, although there aren't to many trucks anyways. He's looking for a plow for it, and a big block. I'm thinking about buying myself a diesel dodge 4x4.

well yestarday and today my younger brother and myself spent hours trying to finish the chevy. the front springs are in now so the front end is almost level. just about there good enough for me!! brakes are all finished and need a few adjustments.motor runs and i took it for a drive down the road. it is fun but i need to finish the steering, brakes, and tranny everything works with the lights and all i figure about 2-3 more hours of working the bugs out and it will be ready to put on the road. ill get another pic to atcryder to post the finished truck. o well i am beat going to bed later all
