I was a driver for a special re-enlistment ceremony for one of our soldiers this morning, and when we went to the airfield, I was told there were extra seats, so I got to fly. The aircraft is designated a C-12 Huron by the Army, which is actually a Beech 1900C Airliner. It was a wonderful morning to fly, and I'm sure SPC McVey will remember her 9500ft AGL re-enlistment forever. We flew from Wonju Airbase to the west coast, out over the Sea of Japan, and then back in. The flight was smooth as silk for about 53 of the 60 minutes. The last seven, while on approach, were like riding a bucking bull. Props (pun intended ) go out to CW4 Turner (PIC) and CW4 Finley for the ride. The flight pretty much cemented my desire to obtain a fixed-wing transistion in the future.

Below is a link to my photo album. Savvy browsers will notice that I am still wearing Specialist rank. Thanks a lot for not turning in my points, S1!
