Well i just wanted to start this thread to introduce myself, names Barry. I am the new(and proud) owned of a 85 YTZ250N Tri-Z. I have spent the last 5 years in the Navy and am on my way back to Mississippi. I am probably going to be one of the regulars on here asking questions about parts and the like, but i wont ask unless I have exhausted my few options. I guess thats about it for now, like I said just wanted to introduse myself.

Welcome aboard mate! I work for the Dept of Defense (Civilian), so welcome back shipmate. You will have to meet up with some TN guys and go riding.

I didnt know that some one on here had Howdy as a user name, sorry about the mix-up. I will take and post pics as soon as the weather lets up here, its raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock. Sadly she was mistreated in her former home, the former owner weighed somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 pounds. When i put her in the back of my bronco she was so dirty that i shop-vac'd a 5 gallon bucket of dirt and crap after i took her out. THe clutch is shot and the front brake master cylinder looks like it was beat with a crescant hammer in an attempt to open it. The chain is stretched and both sprockets are worn almost to the nub. THe plastic is Ok, meaning some of it is still there. headlight stay ont he front is missing and the taillight is missing. Throttle cable is almost shot. SO much to do and so much fun to have doing it. I am an old school kinda guy, though i am only 23 I really do dislike newer things. I drive a 87 bronco, a 74 F-100, and a 79 F-100, and i dont really want anything newer than that. I also have a basket case 87 XR350R that takes a lickin and keeps on ticking.
