Whats the biggest jump you have ever hit? 40 foot gap?

Well, I went to a party last night and met my old buddy. Turns out he has a 400ex and owns a 2 acre track with doubles, singles, tables, berms and a 40 foot gap over his creek.
Im worried to hit this 40 footer, for obvious reasons lol. If I overshoot its alot better than too undercut it. If I undercut it im done for. But overshooting can be just as deadly and I dont want to pull a Bryan lol no offence! I got the proper gear and so on.
He says he hits it 4th gear quarter throttle, so im thinking 4th at like 75+ percent throttle.
Ive been jumping for awhile, but Ive really never gotten huge air time like this before.

Im worried about messing my Z over, if I screwed it up.
Questions-
Whats the biggest jump you have ever hit?

What was the biggest jump the pro racers hit?

Can a Z with a stock warrior rear shock, and progressives up front handle this kinda jump?

Now I just gotta grow some titanium balls lol

Oh man..the biggest jump i've hit was like maybe a 10 feet gap! lol..I only ride trails, so there's not much out there. BUt you better tape this!

50' Table...... over shot it by 16 ft. with my son's "stock" 400ex...
The double was like 40ish ft.

Well some news, went and saw the jump. Its seems pretty easy to do the 40.
I was nailing his 30 foot and 20 foot table with no problems. Video time!

Well it was about a 25-30ft double that I overshot by about 10ft and stuck the nose of a DS650 right into the ground :lol:

I've hit 50 footers on my atc250r and made them(they were talbletops). I'm sure I can do a bigger jump, but I don't have the balls to do so, so as dobles too, for some reason I have problems doing them. I have a freind of mine that when we were in hardrock mx in Ocala florida, he hit a 100 ft tabletop and DID IT. I did a 60 foot tabletop on my 4 wheeler, too.

LOL You need to watch the Huevos 5 video where the guy gets jumping on a beat 350X. Poor trike, looked nice. Plus the Huevos vids are awsome anyhow.

I've done a 30 foot table on the Tecate and lived to tell the tale.

Haha, well, at the time I was on the DS is after I had cold seized my Z (Which I have rode all day today without any problems and i haven't done a damn thing. talk about weird) Its my moms, although she never rides it. A tank with wheels is about the best way to describe that thing haha. 12inchs of suspension travel is nice though.


I've been pushing up some dirt here at home with a bulldozer my dad and I have been working on (Hopefully it'll be making the real track soon when we finally get an approval to do it) but anyways I pushed up about a 30ft table top with a kicker. I hit it probably 3/4 throttle or so in first gear and get 4-5ft of air all the way across it. The landing ramp is to short on it now, I'm gonna make that a little longer and I'm gonna stretch it out to about a 40ft'er :D

theres a table top at the local track here,they say it's 90',but i think it's more like 60.i came with in a couple feet of clearing it last year,on the trike.use to clear it all the time on a bike.

i hit it mid throttle 5th gear.just grazed the lip of the landing.i was tryin to reel in the rest of the pack,after someone flipped me on the holeshot.once i got the bike started back up,i dumped the clutch,blaahhh,i was still in 4th gear.by the time i got her fired back up,i was half a lap down.i was so angry,and determined.i passed 6 out of 8 of the trikes on the track in 4 laps.would have caught my uncle derrick too,but i was tired.

well enough ramblin,i say a 60 table to is my biggest jump.............so far!!!

60 paces is my farthest distance (don't know how many feet that is but it's obviously more than 60). It wasn't a gap though. Almost like a step-up. The ramp was between 5 and 6 feet high from the approach but only a foot or two higher than the landing area. 5th gear completely wide open... on a 200x. :p

Sounds more impressive than it is. We would only get 4-5 feet off the ground. It was just the speed that made you go that far. Never had the chance to hit it on my R unfortunately.

that on i bit it on was 25 foot Ive done a 30 before all it takes is that one time like i did! keep the vidio rollin! my boss says hes seen a few 100 footers on some pro tracks hes puting in a 100 footer on his track at his house Ill get pics when its complete!
