see the white car in the second pic? It was completely under water for Hurricane Rita! The fence next to the minivan had 6" over it. If you notice in the pics, my house is 9 foot from the ground to the bottom of the floor joists.

I took all the running trikes i could haul with me. I figured if I came back to no home, I knew I could get 500.00 each for em quick. That would get me some travelling money, and I was headed for a new life in Colorado.
I did leave behind an older 185s and a 110, both runners. I chained em off really high to a post, made sure all the tires were pumped up to an even 15 pounds, and hoped for the best. I came back 3 days later(in a boat) to see both of em floating upside down in 3 foot of water. The plastic tank I had on the 185 was down the street! trikes floated just fine, just inverted  . I took both of em apart once the water went down, flushed everything out with fresh water (even the inside of the engine) then bathed everything in Marvels. Both run just fine now, sold the 110 for 300. I found out later our levees broke in 33 places in 13 miles.
The funny part is, now I have an 84R, something Ive always dreamed of owning. Its screaming for a resto, but Im waiting till after Hurricane season. That way I can just roll em on a trailer and get out. BTW, my home is only 19 miles from the end of the road, and the Gulf of Mexico. Dave

Looks pretty cool man. I saw the the title name and was like.."HUH?", then I read the post and saw "I got bored today so I lit my utility trailer on fire" and was like "WTF?!". Then I saw the pics and was like "Ohhh..."..lol. I need a trailer like that.
