Well nobody could could come through on a 250r for me here and everywhere else they were WAY to $$$$$$$. So I found a good buy on a new 03' Cannibal. I'll pick it up sometime next week and I'll post some pics after that. Don't hate me because I'm still on the dark side. If i can find decent 250r for about 1500 I'll get it. I'm just not willing to pay 2k+ for a trike that's 15+ years old.

Peace Out!

p.s. Yes I know Cannondale is under re-organazation right now by filling chapter 11

Ok after some long hard thinking and me just not havin enuff balls to spend that kinda Jack on something with a future so uncertain. I started looking else were's for a new bike, trike, quad...Then LOW AND BEHOLD!!!!..I found an awsome deal on a 02' DS 650 Baja. Thing looked it like it was a left over, guy said it it's only on the second tank of gas. It looks it too. And for the kicker....I got it for 5k.. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!
I havent had the time really ride it yet...It's very very very heavy and feels it to. But for that low of a price Even if I don't like it. I think I could easly make 500$ just by turning around and selling it!

Well that's my story...I'm going to haspin tommorrow to try it out if anyone is interested in going. Let me know

Peace Out

Bill

i believe cannondale declared bankrupcy and won't be building anymore quads. that would put a person in a bind for parts i would think :)

I know of a local guy with a cannondale and he doesn't even like to ride it because its hard to get parts for it. BTW, the things a complete lemon, he has had nothing but problems.

I guess that makes you very happy then. Seeing as how a stock Cannibal can walk all over the 400 you got! :-D

I bet you'll love that ds650 for the speed. I seen one outrunning everyone on the dunes at Beaver Oklahoma last weekend. It was an impressive sight to see he was giving raptors and banshees headstarts and still kickin a**.

About 5 or 6 preditors there, no chance of them winning the drags. No Cannondales were there.

Everyone did say it was to big and akward in the trails. If that makes it any better.

Personally I love the DS650s in the open area. Their not exactly the hot setup for the woods (But not too many sport quads are). Their suspension is on par with todays high end motocross dirtbikes, and their bullet proof. Hell, they took DS650 Baja's straight from the factory, raced the Baja 2000 race (almost 1900 miles across the desert) and finished top in the ATV division and suffered not one single malfunction. Now that says alot for durability.
