Banshee 200X? WTF?

What a shame.. But I'm about 50 miles or so and was thinking about picking it up for my son. what do you guys think?

Well it is pretty interesting but looks pretty crusty engine wise and possibly frame wise. He just washed the thing and it still looks bad.

Pic #4 I think is showing the counter shaft sprocket and I can't tell if it's welded on there or not? can you?

I think I honestly would rather have a solid trike with the right motor in but then again this one could last for years. Usually hard to sell something like this though and if you get it cheap, you'll have to sell it cheap.

It's just a bit too dirty for me to even consider but that's me. if it is a well thought out project it may go for 8-1200 or so? Just a wild guess???

that type of quad scares people away because of the different enigne and they are afraid how it'll hold up and how it's biult.

thats how i got my 400rex that i rode the other weekend. i got it for $1600 the way you guys seen it. having the trx250r motor scared people away from it.

the low teens dont seem bad for that quad. chris that thing should kill your 250sx:lol:


i had a biult TC racing 200x that was in a 88trx250r and a 87 lt250r with a blaster in it before that when i raced MX.

Um upon further inspection you appear to have a 230G on your hands instead of a 230s(quadsport). Most is interchangable with the Quadsport though (including the engine ;))

hey nate, what are the diffrences. this is/will be my first suzuki. I really know nothing about them.

the only difference is the engine. it has the auto clutch and pull start + electric instead of manual clutch and kick start only. the chassis is the exact same.

the 87 quadsports had white plastic.

Yea I was wondering about that Jason, I was searching on bikepics.com and seen several blue and white 87's.

I think this will make for a better ride for my son than a trike for the type of terrian will be riding. He does pretty good on my SX but the extra wheel will give dad a peice of mind. ;) I plan on riding it myself once in a while as well. :)

so after this puirchase you don't want the 185s anymore? if so no problem i'll just maybe fix it some day or part it out not sure. chassis wise it's almost to nice to do that though. just needs top end gaskets and rings and new tires. + brake cables.

Yea, I sold the griz and bought this. after I cleaned the carb she fires right up and purrrs like a kitty! :w00t:
