What kind of trike is this?

looks like a tecate.... or maybe an older r motor on a newer r frame BUT those plastics look tecate to me.... idk looks tecate thats what im leaning on

I just posted that one in the eBay forums... its an '83 or '84 250R.

but how could it be? the air cooled had metal tanks didnt it? could it be what i said older model engine on newer chasis?

Looks like an 83 R with an aftermarket plastic tank. I think Maier made em and they held more fuel than stock

That style, with the narrow front wheel but aircooled engine was only made for 2 years....

The 250R was made for 6 years. They break down like this. 81-82 fat front tire, red motors, air cooled 83-84 skinny front tire, black motors, air cooled 85-86 liquid cooled, skinny front tire.

Its definately an aftermarket plastic tank.. probably Clarke.

it is a clarke desert tank holds 5 gallons and its been painted white cause it only comes in red i know cause my 250r came with one and its now for sale.
