My dog is in need of prayers. He was bit by a snake today in the yard. We belive it was a copperhead. We are trying our best to help him survive, if you would, please pray for Cozmo.

Well if it helps any, copperheads arent really that venomous. We use copperhead venom here in the south to rid our hunting dogs of heartworms if they have a severe case. The main thing with a coppehead bite is to make sure the swelling is localized, and if it was to the neck, then make sure the airway is not restricted. Get the pup to the vet and get an exam, make sure he stays hydrated, but most of the time with correct treatment and the help of a good vet the only lasting effects may be a little lethaargy (sleepiness) and some hairloss around the bite site. I have raised champion BEAGLES, BOSTON TERIERS, and AMERICAN PIT BULL TERRIERS for the last 20 years or so. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PUP ... BUTTHEAD,DIXIE,CHYNA,AND REBEL SAY HOORAH !!! AND GOOD LUCK !!

I love the fact that you have a dog named "Butthead". BTW, that sounds like really great information you have given there - kudo's. Cody, all the best for your pup.

I had a bunch of friend's over trying to find it. Bad thing is, my mom was so scared she didnt remember which way it went. But we burned up a pile we think he might have went in.
