Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had or know of a good book to rebuild atc and trx 250r motors.
Thank you.

I would start with getting ahold of a Honda factory service manual. There was book I remember some time back that had a few tricks and tips for a little extra edge, but I can't recall what it was. I may remember eventually. If you just need something to guide you through a complete teardown, including tranny, the Honda manual is what you want. Keep in mind that they made a few minor tranny changes in the TRX,and also keep an eye out when mixing cylinders from different years, as the later TRX had the long-rod crank.

Ok thanx, I have 2 1986 atc 250r motors all in pieces, I went through them with a parts diagram and I definately have 1 full one in parts. Too bad those parts diagrams dont say much. I do also seem to have 1 banshee shift drum and forks. what the hell is that for? Is there a tweak? I really would like to know all the cool little tweaks to do before putting this back together also.
