I was just looking at what I was going to take to TF. I noticed my rear wheels (douglas) on my X were looking pretty crappy. I was using wax (have no Mother's) and it was doing ok...I went to the cabinet and saw an old rusty can of Brasso. I poured a little on a rag and rubbed a bit on a bent Z400 rim I had. It cleaned up pretty well. I spent the last hour rubbing on my 5 rims for the X. The two sets of rears and the front. That stuff did a good job...for being in a low light garage.

Anyone else ever use Brasso for polishing aluminum?

ive used it to polish an old set of berillium (sp) copper golf clubs. Makes them look like gold.
