View Full Version : Atc 110 HELP!!!!!!

I have an ATC 110 Ijust put a new head gasket on it now it still don't start. I am getting great spark and i beleive gas. I'm getting flustered what should I do???? :shock:

Remove the plug and put a small amount of fuel into the cylinder. That way you will know for sure you have fuel. If it fires then you will need to check into the fuel delivery. If it doesn't fire that way then you need to check you compression.

I have good compression but still no rideable 3 wheeler. HELP!!!!!

ATCRYDER, How will oil on the tip of the spark plug help it?
It's not a 2 stroke, it's a 4 stroke.

lipp, have you checked the timing? It sounds like that might be the problem.

P.S. What year is it?

Howdy--I am well aware its a 2 stroke. But it has been to my experience that squirting a *bit* of oil into the head (int eh spark plug hole) will basicallt raise the compression a bit and start the bike up. I did this when I had my engine out of the frame, couple kicks after I did that and it started right up

Ad far as timing---i was under the impression that it ran before he ripped into the bike---did it?

also: I dont mean oil liek motor oil--I mean oil like lube oil.

It's a 1982. As far as I know I put it back in time, but I'm not sure if I did it properly.Could you post the procedure or E-mail it to me Howdy???????????
